Mia Blake is a designer and costumier with affiliation with burlesque and drag. Born and based in Birmingham, she gained her Bacholors Degree at London College of Fashion in womenswear design. Her design work has a heavy technical focus making use of skilled creative patterncutting to create stuctures. She has a background in textiles, photography and graphic design. Her work carries running themes of indentity and countercultural approcahces to adroment.

Her current work creating custom peices for some of the west midlands prominent burlesque and drag perfomers have allowed to bring to fruition the idea of crafing identity for performance. Recent collaborations include House of Allure and Fierce Festival.
